SSC exam paper leak: 9 held

Nine people, including six government officials, were arrested in connection with a case of Staff Selection Commission examination paper leak, police said today.

Of the nine arrested who were allegedly helping candidates in Combined Graduate Level Tier-I Examination-2013, one is a lower division clerk, two policemen and another is a a sales tax inspector who is awaiting his civil service results.

The arrested have been identified as teachers Amit Kumar, Mukesh Kumar and Ashu Sharma, head constable Ajit Singh, constable Sahil Kadyan and students Ravinder Singh and Kulvir Singh. Another accused Macchita Malik is a Sales Tax Inspector awaiting his civil service results, while Lohit Vats is a clerk in External Affairs Ministry, Additional Commissioner of Police (Crime) Ravindra Yadav said.
