The recruitment process for various group C and B non-gazetted posts in the Central Government by the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has been freed of middlemen in view of tight measures taken by the commission, a top official said today.

Speaking to reporters here on the sidelines of the SSC Regional Directors' Conference, he said the measures had made the selection process more transparent.
