SSP asked to secure arrest of trio booked for housing fraud

A local court today ordered the Ghaziabad SSP to secure the arrest of three persons who allegedly duped more than a hundred buyers through a scheme to sell apartments.

The alleged 2008 fraud involves a property called Hindon Heights in Rajnagar Extension here.

The court of the third additional civil and judicial magistrate had in December 2012, issued orders for the arrest of Rajiv Gupta, Manoj Sharma and Anuj Sareen but police found that none of the three was available at the addresses mentioned in the arrest warrant.

Wondering how those addresses had come to be mentioned in the chargesheet in the first place, the court asked the SSP to arrest the trio and present them in court.
