Delhi University's prestigious St Stephen's College today announced its first cut-off list for the 2014-15 academic session with percentage set for admission in Economics and English courses under four-year undergraduate programme as high as 98 per cent for Commerce students.
According to the list, the cut-off for Economics is 98 per cent in best of four subjects for students who have studied Commerce in 10+2 while those who have studied science and humanities require 97.25 and 97 per cent marks respectively to qualify for the interview.
The cut-off for Economics course was 98 per cent for Commerce students last year as well.

The cut-off percentages for English course have been set exactly as that for Economics under the General and Scheduled Caste (SC) categories.
For students under SC category, the cut-off for the two courses stood at 95 per cent for commerce students and 94.25 per cent and 94 per cent for science and humanities students respectively.
For Mathematics course, the cut-offs are 97.25 per cent for students from Commerce stream, 97 per cent for Science and 95 per cent for students of Humanities in the best of four.
The cut-offs for Chemistry, Physics, History and Philosophy were above 95 per cent for general category students and more than almost 90 per cent for those under SC/ST category.
The cut off for Sanskrit remained the same as last year at 65 per cent for students under General category.
The college, a minority institution, has not imposed any additional eligibility criteria this year in compliance with Delhi University guidelines.
