A section of ground handling staff launched an agitation at nearby Karipur international airport demanding disbursement of salary.
According to airport sources, the employees of a Delhi based agency launched the agitation since last night after their salaries were not paid on December 10 as promised.
Their salaries have been pending disbursal for the last three months, they added.
Meanwhile, a minor fire broke out in the Air India office at the airport damaging some installations like UPS.
