Stage erected for BJP function crashes,party secretary injured

The stage crashed at the fag end of the programme and the State BJP Organising Secretary Arvind Menon got a fracture in a leg while others escaped with minor injuries.

Earlier, the State BJP Chief Prabhat Jha, perhaps sensing the poor condition of the stage, had warned that people should not climb onto the dais for it could crumble.

The dais broke after Prabhat, former Chief Minister Kailash Joshi, Madanlal Bhaskar and State BJP secretary had delivered their speeches.
