Taking a cue from Hollywood's walk of fame, the 14th edition of International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) awards kickstarted here today with Bollywood actors Abhishek Bachchan and Shahid Kapoor putting their hand impression on a cemented star-shaped slab.
"I am happy to be the part of this Bridges Star of fame," said Abhishek, who will also be performing at the awards gala.
Amitabh Bachchan was IIFA's face for almost a decade but they parted ways after 2011.

The awards extravaganza, which is celebrating 100 years of Indian Cinema, saw celebrities like Parineeti Chopra, Arjun Kapoor, Ayushmann Khurrana, Gauhar Khan, Anupam Kher among others attending the ceremony at the Venetian Macau.
"We are honoured to host second edition of IIFA here. It's our privilege that Abhishek Bachchan and Shahid Kapoor left their hand impressions on our Brides Star of fame where we have hand impressions of stars of these region," Sabbas Joseph said during the opening ceremony.
Vir Das and Boman Irani unveiled the first look of their comedy film 'Santa Banta' at the first day of the award ceremony.
The film will be released by the end of this year with Neha Dhupia, Ram Kumar and Lisa Hayden in the lead.
