DMK, if elected to power in any assembly segment in the polls, will take action against its party MLAs if they fail to address long-pending demands of people in the respective constituencies, party Treasurer M K Stalin today said.
"In every assembly constituency, if the DMK is elected to power, the elected MLA should conduct people grievances day meeting once in three months, collect petitions and solve the problems.
"Similarly if any member of the public calls the respective area MLA to represent their long pending demands etc, the MLA should solve the problems. If any MLA ignores the call, the DMK party high command will take disciplinary action against the MLA," he said, addressing an election meeting here and in Nasiyanure and Modakurichi.
