Stalin, accompanied by DMK Parliamentary Party leader T R Baalu, is undertaking the visit in line with an announcement made by party chief M Karunanidhi recently.
Karunanidhi today approved a draft of the resolutions, adopted in the August 12 conference of Tamil Ealam Supporters' Organisation (TESO) here, a DMK statement said.
A once defunct organisation, the pro-Lankan Tamils TESO was revived by Karunanidhi recently.
Stalin and Baalu will submit the resolutions to the UN and will also participate in a Tamil conference to be held on November 6 in London, it added.
The TESO conference had among others, demanded that the Indian government take all necessary steps to ensure a "total change of environment" in Sri Lanka and a life of equality and peace to the Sri Lankan Tamils, by "redeeming their political, economic and cultural rights.
