Architectural consultancy firm Stapati Architects, which designed internationally renowned resorts, including Kumarakom Lake Resort at Kumarakom, has been selected as one of the 50 most influential firms in South Asia in Architecture and Design (AD50) for the year 2015.
Tony Joseph, head of Stapati Architects, received the award from Alex Kuruvilla, Managing Director of Conde Nast India recently at a function in Delhi, a press release from the firm said today.
Stapati was the only architectural firm from Kerala to receive the award instituted by internationally renowned "Architetural Digest Magazine".
Stapati is also known for its other large scale projects like Alia Diwa Resort in Goa and Enchanted Island Resort in Seychelles, the release said.
