Setting out his efforts to enhance corporate governance in Murdoch-owned companies after the phone-hacking scandal, he said in his witness statement to the inquiry that he personally led efforts in this direction since the summer of 2011.
"We have trained more than 1,000 employees at Star India, Fox Turkey, News International and other businesses throughout the region on News Corporation's anti-corruption policies and procedures", he said in the statement available on the inquiry
