State Bank of Hyderabad (SBH), an associate of SBI, today reported 10.5 per cent growth in net profit at Rs 251.45 crore for the June quarter of current fiscal.
The bank had reported a standalone net profit of Rs 227.21 crore in the corresponding quarter of last fiscal.
Total income of the bank rose to Rs 3,829.98 crore in the first quarter of 2015-16, from Rs 3,527.62 crore in the three month period of last fiscal.
The gross non-performing assets (NPAs) as a percentage of total advances declined to 5.14 per cent during the quarter under review from 6.26 per cent in the same quarter last fiscal, SBH said in a filing to BSE.
