Partnering with the the Delhi Gourmet Club, Groupon India has launched the 'The Gourmet Studio' initiative, which offers customers the chance to relish an extravagant dining experience at nominal prices.

"We thought of offering food aficionados across Delhi something new and exciting, and enabling them to indulge in a gourmet experience at very affordable prices. The idea is to highlight one chef each month, that is 'The Chef of the Month', and really help promote the person behind creating these amazing food experiences as opposed to the food or the restaurant itself," says Ankur Warikoo, CEO Groupon India.

For July, the 'Chef of Month' was Chef Vaibhav Bhargava of Pan Asian - Sheraton Delhi who whipped up a special signature dishes for the occasion.

Specially curated six course tasting menu consisting of Seafood Tom Yum, Seaweed Salad, Spicy Asparagus Tempura Roll and the Prawn XO.

"The special menu for The Gourmet Studio concept has been designed keeping in mind certain guest favorites such as light soups, salads, sushi, dim sums and main dishes like chicken, prawn, fish, vegetables, rice and noodles, as well as desserts," says Chef Bhargava.

Donning several feathers on his cap, Bhargava has been awarded thrice for guest satisfaction in Hystar Program.

"These days, restaurant goers and food lovers are increasingly looking at experiences which are more interactive. They cherish the fact that their meal has been curated specially by the chef, and a personal interaction enhances their experience; that's where chefs play a vital role," says the chef.

Keeping in mind affordability, quality and consistency, The Gourmet Studio has set the starting price of this course at just Rs 1,199 per person.
