States like Mizoram doing well in cleanliness drive: NITI CEO

States like Mizoram have done well in taking 'Swachh Bharat Mission' forward by respecting the task of cleaning, NITI Aayog CEO Sindhushree Khullar said today.

"We need to give the task of cleaning dignity. States like Mizoram are good examples of this effort.

"The regulations will be implemented by local bodies but eventually each one of us will bring the change," Khullar was quoted as saying in a tweet posted by NITI Aayog.

Edelweiss Tokio Life launches non-linked plan GCAP * Edelweiss Tokio Life Insurance today launched a non-linked non-participating guaranteed return life insurance plan, GCAP.

The plan offers fully guaranteed maturity benefit and death benefits along with a Guaranteed Accrual Addition (GAA).

New and Renewable Energy Ministry hosts Investor Roundtable * The Ministry of New and Renewable Energy in association with Yes Bank hosted an Investor Roundtable to bolster investments in the renewable the sector.

Among other who attended the roundtable were RBI Executive Director N S Vishwanathan, EPFO's Central Provident Fund Commissioner K K Jalan and senior officials from PSU banks, public sector banks, mezzanine investors, public and private insurance companies.

The event was a prelude to upcoming RE-INVEST 2016 to be inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in February, 2016.

Oxigen Services bags sponsorship for South Africa T20 team * Blue Label Telecoms today said its Indian associate, Oxigen Services, has been awarded the team sponsorship rights for the South African T20 cricket team.

"The Proteas are a globally recognised brand with huge support in India.
