"True Blood" star Stephen Moyer is finally returning to the UK television scene as the lead of "Safe House".
The 46-year-old British actor will star in the second series of the show alongside "Mr Selfridge" star Zoe Tapper, reported Digital Spy.
Former "Doctor Who" actor Christopher Eccleston led the cast of its first series, but dropped out due to "confidential" reasons.

"Safe House" first came to our screens in April last year, where we saw Eccleston as an ex-policeman protecting a family from a serial killer at his guest house.
The four-part second series stars Moyer as charismatic ex-police officer Tom Brook, who now runs a police safe house on the edge of the Anglesey coastline.
Also starring in the series will be Dervla Kirwan, Jason Watkins, Sunetra Sarker, Ashley Walters, Sacha Parkinson and Joel MacCormack.
This is Stephen Moyer's first ongoing series since 2007's "Lilies". A year later, he joined "True Blood" as male lead vampire Bill Compton, where he met his eventual wife Anna Paquin.
