Jharkhand government has initiated steps to develop all tourist centres in the state, Tourism Minister Suresh Paswan said today.
"The tourist centres include Baidyanath dham in Deoghar and Parasnath which attract a large number of tourists," Paswan said after a meeting with officials here.
He said emphasis was being placed on improvements of infrastructure and beautification of the pilgrim towns.
A tourist spot in Amadubi, about 66 km from Jamshedpur, in Ghatsila sub-division would be inaugurated on September 27 to promote rural tourism in the state, he said.
