Arrangements for vaccines and necessary treatment to deal with swine flu and Japanese encephalitis are available at district hospitals all over the country, Nadda told reporters here.

All those showing signs of these diseases should promptly contact the district hospitals, he said, adding that directives have also been issued to officials to remain alert to deal with them.

To a question, Nadda said the Centre has issued necessary approval for starting a medical college in Basti division.

The Union minister also met patients of Japanese encephalitis in the district hospital and took stock of the treatment being provided to them.
