Rocker Steven Tyler has given his new country music career a boost after landing a role in hit TV drama "Nashville."

The 67-year-old Aerosmith frontman will star alongside Hayden Panettiere on the country-themed show, and in a tweet he suggested he will be hitting the stage with the actress' singer character, Juliette Barnes, as part of a fictional Patsy Cline biopic, reported Us magazine.

"@haydenpanettier and I getting a little 'crazy' on set at @Nashville_ABC you won't want to miss this....#PATSYCLINE"."

Crazy was Cline's signature tune.

Tyler's guest role on the show comes just a few months after the rocker released his first country music single, "Love Is Your Name", in May.
