Hitesh Ramavat, the alleged stone killer who was arrested in connection with murdering three persons by hitting them with stones, has confessed to killing one more woman some five years ago, police said today.

The victim, Sunita Goshwami, was missing since November 2011 and her a complaint in this regard was lodged by her husband at Rajkot, Commissioner of Police, Anupamsinh Gehlot told reporters here.

"Sunita and four others including accused Hitesh, his friends Jitu Rana, Milan Chudasama and Bhuro were on way to Rajasthan for a picnic when Hitesh killed Sunita by strangulating her and then disposed off her body by burning it near Banaskatha-Radhanpar Highway," Gehlot said.

"Banaskatha Police lodged a complaint in the matter but could not arrest any culprit behind it," he said. Police was suspicious about Bhuro's involvement in the case and had even interrogated him but did not arrest him then, he said.

Hitesh was then involved in bootlegging and was working as a liquor supplier for Jitu Rana who had illegally got Sunita's house in his name and wanted to kill her, he said.

"As per Jitu's plan, the four along with Sunita planned to go to Rajasthan. Upon reaching Banaskatha, Hitesh strangulated Sunita and burnt her body near a barren land," he said.

"We have arrested all the three culprits involved in the murder and further investigation is on," the Commissioner said.
