Some unidentified persons pelted stones at the car of Madras High Court Judge, Justice Vaidyanathan but no one was injured, police today said.
The judge was proceeding to the Meenakshi temple with his family last evening when the stones were hurled.
The front windscreen was damaged in the incident, police said.
On a complaint from the driver Ayyappan, police registered a case.
