Asking Pakistan to stop promoting terrorism, Home Minister Rajnath Singh Tuesday warned India would exert "so much pressure and so many actions will be taken" that Islamabad would be forced to act against such activities emanating from its soil.

He said he would like to tell Pakistan that it has to desist from its "acts" and stop training terrorists.

Singh said India is ready to offer assistance to Pakistan if it alone cannot stop terrorist activities from its soil.

"Terror activities should not happen from Pakistan and if Pakistan thinks it is not able to stop terror activities alone then it can seek assistance from India and India will be ready to assist. But, terrorism has to end from Pakistan's soil, Singh said.

Addressing election rallies in Nizamabad and Mahabubabad districts, Singh listed various welfare measures undertaken by the Narendra Modi government and appealed to people to support the BJP and again elect Modi as the Prime Minister.

The senior BJP leader said India was earlier considered a weak nation, but that notion has now changed in entire world after the Modi government came to power in 2014 and it has emerged a strong nation.

Referring to the surgical strike after the Uri terror attack in September 2016, he said our Prime Minister decided and our soldiers eliminated them (terrorists) in Pakistan",

Singh also said that after the Pulwama attack carried out by trained 'fidayeen' terrorists from Pakistan, "our Prime Minister decided and then our IAF carried out air strikes inside Pakistan and succeeded in killing a large number of terrorists.

The Home Minister asserted that the BJP-led NDA gave a corruption-free government under former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee and Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Singh alleged that some ministers in previous Congress-led Governments faced serious corruption charges.

"I can assert that be it Atal Bihari Vajpayee's government or Narendra Bhai Modi's government, no one can point a finger either from India or any part of the world on a single charge of corruption against any minister. This how a government is run, he said.

Singh asked the crowd whether the ruling Telangana Rashtra Samithi government in Telangana was doing anything to resolve the problems of turmeric and red jowar (sorghum) farmers. Is the Telangana government doing something or not and that's why over 4,500 farmers committed suicide in Telangana in the last five years, he said.

Singh assured farmers that all arrangements will be made to purchase turmeric crop at remunerative prices and if need be a turmeric board will also be set up. Similarly, remunerative prices would be given to sorghum farmers. Besides, efforts would be made to revive the Nizam sugar Factory.

Over 170 farmers had filed their nominations from Nizamabad, from where TRS President and Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao's daughter K Kavitha is seeking re-election.

They are protesting against the alleged failure of the TRS governemnt to ensure minimum support price for turmeric and red jowar produce.

Singh said the Central Government has increased the Minimum Support Prices (MSPs) of 22 crops and introduced the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) wherein Rs 6,000 per year is given to farmers and efforts were on to double farmers income by 2022.

Singh further said he has been informed that the people of Telangana are not being benefited from the central government schemes and accused the TRS government of not implementing central sponsored schemes in the state.

He appealed to the people of Telangana to vote for BJP Lok Sabha candidates in the upcoming Parliament elections.

You may have elected TRS in the December 2018 Assembly elections, I have no complaints, but now vote for BJP candidates (for Lok Sabha).

TRS will not be able to form government in Delhi because it is a state party and hence, I appeal to you to support BJP candidates in the elections and ensure formation of BJP-led NDA government at the Centre, Singh said.

I want TRS to do development here. We do not want to do any meddling with this government. But, at the Centre, the way Prime Minister Narendra Modi is doing good works, it is our desire that he should be again made Prime Minister and given opportunity to serve people", he said.
