"We have allowed the vehicles, stranded at Banihal and Ramban on the highway, to proceed to their respective destinations," DIG Traffic Shakeel Ahmed Beig said.
Over 100 passenger and other vehicles were stranded on the highway due to closure of 300-km-long highway following heavy snowing.
The authorities had cleared the highway of snow and made it traffic-worthy, he said.
No fresh vehicles were allowed to move from both Jammu and Srinagar, the DIG said.
One-way traffic from Jammu to Srinagar would be allowed tomorrow, he said.
