Strata, tech-enabled commercial real estate investment platform, on Thursday said it has raised USD 1.5 million from investors including SAIF Partners and Mayfield India.
In this round of seed funding, real estate data analytics platform PropStack and three other prominent angel investors with commercial real estate backgrounds have also invested.
The infusion of funds will be primarily utilized for tech expansion and strengthening the core team across cities, the company said in a statement.
Strata allows investors to own and sell fractions of pre-leased, Grade-A commercial properties such as office spaces and warehouses.
Incorporated in May 2019, the company currently has 1,500 users and 150 active investors on its platform.
Currently operational in Bengaluru and Mumbai, Strata aims to double in team size this year to over 45 members.
