Meryl Streep, a three-time Oscar winner, extended her record of being the most nominated artist in the Oscar history by getting her 19th Academy Awards nomination for best supporting actress in 'Into The Woods'.
Streep's previous Oscar wins include the best supporting Oscar award for 'Kramer vs Kramer' in 1980, best actress award for 'Sophie's Choice' in 1983 and 'The Iron Lady' in 2012.
In the fantasy musical 'Into The Woods', Streep, 65, plays the role of a witch, who places a curse of a baker couple and sends them on a quest to find four key ingredients for a potion that she is making.
'Woods' other two nominations were for costume and production design.
