Uttrakhand Governor Krishna Kant Paul today stressed on the need to strengthen basic infrastructure to address migration issue in Dehradun and bordering areas.
Basic infrastructure needs to be strengthen and villagers should be ensured about the profitability of their business to address the migration issue, Paul said.
According to a press release from Rajbhawan, the governor made this observation during his visit to Chamoli and its nearby area Ghansali and Malari region of Dehradun.
He said as the hilly region has abundance of herbal plants and natural resources if proper technology is brought here, it can be a great source of income for the locals.
