Strong winds lashed mid-hills of Himachal Pradesh today while the weather remained dry in lower and higher hills.
The weather department has warned of thunderstorm and squall in mid and lower hills tomorrow.
The weather department also predicted rain and thundershowers in lower and mid hills and rains or snow in higher hills for the next three days from tomorrow, and dry weather in the region from April 22 onwards.
Bhuntar, Kothi and Kumarsein received light rain during the day.
Day temperatures rose marginally and Una in the foothills was the hottest in the state with a maximum temperature of 37.4 degrees Celsius.

Nahan, Sundernagar and Bhuntar recorded a high of 32.7, 32.5 and 30.0 degrees Celsius, followed by Solan 28.8, Dharamshala 27.8, Palampur 26.5, Shimla 23.8, Kalpa 19.6 and Keylong 14.4 degrees Celsius.
The minimum temperatures stayed marginally below normal and Keylong was the coldest in the region with a low of minus 0.2 degree Celsius.
Manali and Kalpa shivered at 1.6 and 3.4 degrees Celsius, followed by Bhuntar 8, Solan and Sundernagar 11.8, Shimla 13, Palampur 13.5, Dharamshala 13.8, Nahan 13.9 and Una 16.2 degrees Celsius.
