An 18 year-old girl student of the Alvas college at Moodbidri near here collapsed and died while making a presentation in the classroom, police said today.
Police sources said the incident took place at around 12.30pm yesterday when she was making a presentation. She collapsed and was taken to a nearby hospital, but died on the way.
Nivedita joined the institution for her first year pre-university course and was staying in the hostel since then. She had scored 83 per cent marks in II PU and was a bright student, police said.
