A student of a private school here today allegedly committed suicide by jumping before an express train at Jaijaiwanti railway station.
The teenager jumped before Dhauladhar Express this morning, Investigating Officer Mangatram said.
According to the railway police, the student was wearing a grey colour lower and white colour shirt carrying the logo of a private school in the city.
Police said they have taken the body in their possession and kept it in a mortuary.
Efforts are being made to ascertain the identity of the student, police said.
