A 16-year-old girl was crushed to death under the wheels of a speeding truck which had lost control here today.
Police said the girl was crushed to death near the busy junction outside Tulashi Women's College of which she was a student.
The accident triggered angry reaction among the college students. The agitating girls students set afire motor tyres and blocked the road in front of the college demanding measures to check accidents on roads passing through areas where schools, colleges and other educational institutions were located.
