The students were reportedly given overdose of albendazole drug on empty stomach at their school and fell ill, Mushari police station's Station House Officer (SHO) said quoting villagers.
They were taken to a primary health centre where Sanoj Kumar (11) died during treatment, the SHO said, adding the three ill students were undergoing treatment.
He said the school principal has been questioned in this regard, but no FIR has been registered yet.
The state government had launched a deworming campaign among school students last year and supplied albendazole tablets for consumption.
