Students clean road dividers under cleanliness drive

The Thane Municipal Corporation here today organised a cleanliness drive as a part of the Central government's 'Swachata Abhiyan' with school students to mark Children's Day.

The drive was launched at the Municipal School no. 13 in Khopat here where a large number of children along with other participants took the task of cleaning road dividers in the vicinity.

Addressing students, Thane Mayor, Sanjay More said that cleanliness habits should be inculcated in children at an early age and they should always use them in day to day life.

On the occasion, Thane Municipal Commissioner Aseem Gupta said that children must ask for cleanliness from their parents and teachers and held them as ambassador of the cleanliness drive in the country.
