Headmistress of Krishnadevpur Girls' High School of Kalna, Shubra Goswami said 27 students failed in the Test Examination to select students for the Madhyamik examination.
The students and their parents today gheraoed the headmistress and other teachers demanding that all the students be allowed to appear in the Madhyamik examination.
The police said the gherao was lifted in the evening and tomorrow the students, their parents and the school authorities would sit together to solve the matter.
