The students were inspired today to choose Army as their career by Brig M C Pant, Deputy GoC and Station Commander of Hq 41 Sub-Area in Jorhat Military station.
Inaugurating a Know Our Forces Mela today on the eve of the 72nd Independence day tomorrow at Army Public School (APS), Jorhat, Brig Pant called upon the students to take the opportunity to join the Army which is best to choose as an career.
Brig Pant inspected the various displays including the latest specialist weapons of Para Commandos, Indian made 105/37 light field gun E2 which has maximum range of 17200 meters, 825 ASC Battalion Air Maintenance, Dog show by Army Dog Unit And Artillery Guns.
An APS Official said the event was instrumental in igniting the spirit of patriotism and nationalistic pride in the heart and minds of the students of Army Public School, Jorhat.
