Students meet J-K guv after Rajasthan tour

Hailing from Bandipora district of north Kashmir, the students during the tour which started on August 30 visited various places of educational, historical and cultural importance at Jaipur, Jodhpur, Ajmer, Bikaner and Jaisalmer.

Accompanied by Commanding Officer of 14 Rashtriya Rifles Colonel Vinod Singh Negi and other Army personnel who had accompanied them on the tour, the students met Vohra at Raj Bhawan, a spokesman said.

Interacting with the students, the Governor asked them about their experiences during the tour.

The Governor said during future visits, if possible,the students should be provided the opportunity of also visiting an Air Base.
