Nine students of a Solan- based private university have been selected for a student- exchange programme in some of the finest universities in China, Taiwan and South Korea.
Among these, five students will be heading for Gachon University in South Korea, while two students will go to Sichuan University in China. The rest are selected for Taiwan's Chung Yuan Christian University, a University spokesperson said.
These students will be provided full scholarships by their host universities which will cover various expenses like boarding, lodging and tuition fees.
The students going to China will receive an additional Rs 30,000 per month for food and other expenses.
Apart from studying the course curriculum, the students will also get a chance to learn Korean and Chinese, he added.
