Students protest against varsity for covering up 2 rape cases

The students alleged that two students had been gang-raped on separate occasions recently but the institution's management had covered up the cases.

Students claimed they came out in open to protest after the hostel warden and the management threatened them to remain silent on the issue.

Tonk Superintendent of Police S Parimala said efforts were being made to pacify the girls and investigate their complaint. "We are looking into the matter," Parimala said.

Vice-Chancellor Aditya Shastri and Dean, Management Studies Sidharth Shastri were not available for comment.
