The newly formed Federation of Students Organisation for Social Change, today urged Tamil Nadu Government to withdraw the cases registered against the students engaged in Anti-liquor agitation.
The federation, in which eight students organisations involved, was formed to seek total prohibition in the state and wanted the Government to seek alternate ways to earn the revenue to compensate the lose after closing down liquor business, H Sikander, its president, told reporters here.
Stating that the Government can implement the prohibition in phases, like closing down shops near to places of worship and educational institutions, he said that the organisation would involved in a campaign in campus, where it will create awareness about the ills of liquor.

The federation also condemn the police action against the students of Pachaiyappas College in Chennai,he said.
