Students of a private college here allegedly vandalised the institute to protest non- resolution of their complaints by the management, police said today.
The pupils, studying in Intermediate second year (Class XII), were staying in the hostel located on the college premises in Nizampet area.
Last night, the students went on a rampage, accusing the college management of not giving them holidays, and complained of being served low quality food. They also said bathrooms and toilets in the hostel were not being maintained properly, the police said.

The college officials alerted the police who rushed to the spot and brought the situation under control.
A police official said it was wrong on part of the students to ransack the college's property.
"If they wanted holidays they could have brought the matter to the notice of government authorities. Their behaviour was not proper," said the official.
Police have not registered any case in connection with the incident, he said.
A student told the media the college officials "targeted" the pupils, who were not even allowed emergency outing.
Some reports said the protesters locked the hostel staff in a room before ransacking the college.
