The Wrestling Federation of India (WFI) has decided to organise a 40-day long training camp, starting July 10, for sub-junior grapplers to prepare for the Cadet World Championship to be held in Zrenjanin, Serbia from August 20-25.
The wrestlers will also participate in the Asian cadet championships in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia from July 25-28.
"All the medal winners of the recently held national championships will be undergoing training from July 10. However, for the Asian cadet championships the gold medal winners will represent the country," WFI general secretary Raj Singh said.

The sub-junior (Cadet) national wrestling championship were held in Kanyakumari last week.
The camp for Freestyle and Greco-Roman wrestlers will be held at Army Sports Institute in Pune, while women grapplers will undergo training at Sports Authority of India, Lucknow.
Meanwhile, the selection of the squad for the junior world championships will be held on 15th and 16th of this month.
"The girls will undergo trails at SAI centre in Lucknow on July 15 while boys will be selected based on performance at SAI Sonepat camp on July 16," Singh said.
The junior world championships will be played in Sofia, Bulgaria from August 13-18.
