In an effort to speed-up developmental works to restore flood-affected infrastructure, Jammu and Kashmir government today directed Administrative Secretaries to submit Detailed Project Reports (DPRs) of such works within a week.

"Principal Secretary Planning and Development B R Sharma today asked the Administrative Secretaries to submit remaining Detailed Project Reports (DPRs) of restoration works of infrastructure damaged due to floods of September, 2014, within a week," an official spokesman said.

Sharma said some departments have submitted the DPRs but most of the departments have failed to submit the same after repeated directions given to them from time to time.

He instructed the Administrative Secretaries to gear up the field functionaries and ensure submission of the detailed proposals within a week.

Sharma was reviewing the status of the DPRs submitted by various departments in a meeting here, the spokesman said.
