Actor Carice Van Houten, better known to "Game of Thrones" fans as the Red Priestess Melisandre, says she will miss being on the fantasy drama.

Houten says it would be hard to find a role as interesting as the one she has played on the show, which just finished its seventh season run.

"I'm thinking, 'Ah, what a shame that it's going to end and I'm really not going to see a lot of people anymore', and I'm also sad that I'm not going to travel to Belfast. I'm going to have to look for another job that's equally interesting, which is going to be really difficult, because roles like that don't come along very often," Houten said in a release.

The actor said she will always associate certain moments on the show with what was happening in her personal life at that time.

"... I've had loads of fun as well, even on really tough days like in the cave giving birth to the shadow baby; I mean there was Liam (Cunningham) there making jokes while the prosthetic team were blowing air up in my prosthetic belly, and it was funny as well. I'll miss it. But we still have one more season to go so it's not over yet."

"Game of Thrones" airs in India on Star World and Star World HD.
