About 100 employees of US-based software company C Cubed Solutions in the city, today sought police intervention in getting their salaries and terminal benefits from the company, which has closed its operations without any notice, police said.
In a memorandum to the City Police Commissioner A K Vishwanathan, the employees, including software engineers, claimed that around 250 employees were working in the firm, which without any notice closed its offices here, in Chennai and Bengaluru on January 19, police said.
The staff was informed that that the company was closing these offices as there were not enough clients.

"We are asking for six months' salary instead of three as compensation even as we were not given any notice of termination," they said in the memorandum.
The employees also petitioned Coimbatore District Collector Archana Patnaik and Labour officer in this regard.
