Saradha group chairman Sudipta Sen, accused of duping thousands of investors, seems indifferent to the waves of protests across the state, though he was cooperating with the police.

Asked whether Sen was concerned about the protests or demands for his punishment, an official today said today, "No. He is not concerned about them.

"He has neither expressed sorrow nor anger. He sits idly when the police are not interrogating him," he said.

Police officers from the districts along with officers of the Bidhannagar city police interrogated Sen and Saradha group director and Sen's confidante, Debjani Mukherjee during the day.

"He is cooperating with us. The investigation is proceeding properly," Deputy Commissioner, Bidhannagar City police said.

Debjani's lawyer, Anirban Guha Thakurata said, two officers of Bidhannagar City Police visited New Town Police station where the accused were interrogated.
