Sugar millgate prices eased up to Rs 10 per quintal at the wholesale sugar market in national capital today following heavy stocks position on ample supplies amidst limited spot demand.
Marketmen said heavy stocks position following persistent supplies from millers led to fall in sugar millgate prices.
They said reports of similar trends at other major markets also put pressure.

In millgate section, sugar Asmoli, Simbholi and Ramala fell by Rs 10 each to Rs 3,220, Rs 3,260 and Rs 3,150 per quintal.
Prices of Budhana, Thanabhavan and Chandpur also moved down by Rs 5 each to Rs 3,150, Rs 3,140 and Rs 3,100 per quitnal.

Sugar ready: M-30 Rs 3,230-3,430, S-30 Rs 3,210-3,410.
Mill delivery: M-30 Rs 3,105-3,290; S-30 Rs 3,085-3280.
Sugar mill gate (including duty): Mawana 3,170, Kinnoni 3,290, Asmoli 3,220, Dorala 3,180, Budhana 3,150, Thanabhavan 3,140, Dhanora 3,125, Simbholi 3,260, Modi Nagar Rs 3,140, Khatuli 3,260, Dhampur 3,110, Ramala 3,150, Bulandshar 3,115, Anupshar 3,130, Baghpat 3,170, Morna 3,160, Sakoti 3,130, Chandpur 3,100 and Nazibabad 3,140.
