Sugar witnessed another listless trading session at the Vashi wholesale market here today in the absence of any necessary buying activity on the back of sluggish demand amid adequate supply positions.
Small sugar (S-30) was quoted slightly higher at Rs 2,732/2,825 per quintal from its last weekend closing level of Rs 2,731/2,825.
Medium sugar (M-30), however finished steady at Rs 2,862/2,962 per quintal.

Small sugar (S-30) quality: Rs 2,732/2,825 (Rs 2,732/2,825).
