Sugar prices witnessed a mixed pattern of trading in an otherwise lacklusture Vashi wholesale market here due to alternate bouts of buying and selling coupled with falling demand from bulk consumers.
Small sugar (S-30) was quoted at Rs 3,030/3,162 per quintal from Tuesday's closing level of Rs 3,036/3,152.
Medium sugar (M-30) were also quoted at Rs 3,200/3,285 per quintal as compared to Rs 3,180/3,311 previously.
Following are today's closing rates for sugar (per quintal) with the previous rates given in brackets:
Small sugar (S-30) quality: Rs 3,030/3,162 (Rs 3,036/3,152.
Medium sugar (M-30) quality: Rs 3,200/3,285 (Rs 3,180/3,311).
