Sugar price remain quiet on some support

In thin trading, sugar prices settled steady at the wholesale market in the national capital today following sporadic demand amid sufficient stocks position.

Marketmen said scattered demand against sufficient stocks position helped sugar prices remain steady.

Following are today's quotations (in Rs per quintal)

Sugar retail markets - Rs 33.00-35.00 per kg.

Sugar ready: M-30 (Rs 3,220-3,350); S-30(Rs 3,210-3,340).

Mill delivery: M-30 (Rs.3,060-3,190);

S-30(Rs.3,040-3,180).

Sugar mill gate (including duty): Mawana (Rs 3,140); Kinnoni (Rs 3,190); Asmoli (Rs 3,155); Dorala (Rs 3,125); Budhana (Rs 3,115); Thanabhavan (Rs 3,110); Dhanora (Rs 3,100); Simbholi (Rs 3,165); Modi Nagar (Rs 3,110); Khatuli (Rs 3,150); Dhampur (Rs 3,080); Ramala (Rs 3,060); Bulandshahr (Rs 3,090); Anupshahr (Rs 3,060); Baghpat (Rs 3,070); Morna (Rs 3,070); Sakoti (Rs 3,085); Chandpur (Rs 3,085) and Nazibabad (Rs 3,060).
