Sugar saw a hefty rise of up to Rs 110 per quintal at the wholesale market in the national capital today largely on the back of brisk demand from stockists and bulk consumers.
Besides, tight supplies from millers too supported the upside in the sweetener prices.
Sugar M-30 and S-30 prices zoomed up by Rs 110 each to settle at Rs 3,060-3,130 and Rs 3,050-3,120 per quintal.
