Prices of sugar from government and cooperative mills fell at the wholesale market in the national capital today largely on higher supplies from mills against fading demand at existing levels.
On the other hand, sugar prices of privative mills edged higher by Rs 20 per quintal on sporadic buying support.

Sugar mill delivery prices quoted at Rs 3,340-3,430 and Rs 3,330-3,420 from Rs 3,650-3,730 and Rs 3,640-3,720 per quintal.
In the millgate section, government and co-operative mills prices such as Ramala, Anupshaher, Baghpat, Nazibabad and Morana dropped up to Rs 80 per quintal to Rs 3,350, Rs 3,340, Rs 3,360, Rs 3,350 and Rs 3,360 per quintal respectively.
On the other hand, private mills such as Simbholi, Kinnoni, Asmoli and Khatuli moved up by Rs 10 each to Rs 3,430,Rs 3,440, Rs 3,420 and Rs 3,430 per quintal. Following are today's quotations (in Rs per quintal)
