Both the varieties of sugar prices ended steady at the Vashi wholesale market here today following lack of worthwhile demand from stockists and retailers.
Both Small Sugar (S-30) and Medium Sugar (M-30) closed at its Saturday's closing level of 3,970/4032 and Rs 4,016/4,276 per quintal, respectively.
Following are today's closing rates for sugar (per quintal) with the previous rates given in brackets:
Small sugar (S-30) quality: Rs 3,970/4,032 (Rs 3,970/4,032).
Medium sugar (M-30) quality: Rs 4,016/4,276 (Rs 4,016/4,276).
